brief

Turn 1 Racing is a group of amateur drivers chasing the sport one lap at a time, campaigning a Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2. The gap between an amateur team and a professional one is mostly presentation, and sponsors and paddock contacts form a view in seconds. The site had to close that gap without overclaiming, since the ambition is real and the results are still being written.

approach

Three movements pinned to the scroll, mission then machine then craft, so the site reads like a lap. Three.js carries the hero, GSAP drives the scroll choreography, and a curtain preloader holds the first frame until the scene is ready instead of letting it assemble in front of the visitor. The copy is plain about where the team is: chasing the dream, and doing the work off track.

result

Shipped at roughly 1.5MB across thirteen requests, with the WebGL hero as the one deliberate cost. Everything behind it is static and light.
