brief
Millbrook Cafe is a family-owned restaurant in Millbrook, New York, serving classic American and seafood plates from a wood-fired kitchen. Restaurants are chosen on a phone, quickly, often while someone else is waiting for an answer. The site needed to carry the warmth of the room, put the menu within reach, and make reserving a table a single tap.
approach
Four pages built around the food: a fire-lit hero, an About that credits the family running the kitchen, and a menu that reads on a phone without pinching. Reservations dial the restaurant directly instead of routing guests through a booking portal a house this size does not need. Built on WordPress so the owners can change a menu the same week the kitchen does.
result
Live at themillbrookcafe.com across four pages, with reservations landing on the restaurant's own phone instead of in a third-party queue.
