Apex Studio
The people who take the brief are the people who draw it and build it. Every project is handled inside the studio, start to finish.
Role
Founder
Takes a project from first grid to shipped build.
A professional web designer of more than ten years. Bryce owns the design system, the code beneath it, and the performance budget the finished site has to hold. Most of what sits in the work index was drawn and built by him.

Role
Co-founder
Sets the brief before a line is drawn.
A web designer who leads client work for the studio. Ryan handles new business and client relationships, scoping each project so the build starts from a clear brief, and works on the design alongside Bryce once it is underway.

Beacon, New York
Bryce and Ryan both grew up in Beacon, New York, and the studio still works out of the Hudson Valley.
Plenty of the work comes from businesses a few streets from where we grew up: restaurants, trades, and family firms that want a site built to the same standard as any brand we take on from further afield. Local work gets the same tolerances, the same performance budget, and the same attention as everything else in the index.
In practice
Bryce and Ryan work on every project together, one on the build and one on the brief. The studio takes on few enough projects that neither has to hand work off.
