Asset Property Services has managed, maintained and leased residential and commercial property out of Fishkill, New York since 1991, using its own crew and keeping its own books. Property management is sold on trust and evidence. The site needed to show the record: what they take on, where they work, and who picks up the phone.
approach
The site is written as a work log. Sections state what comes off the owner's plate, what is under their keys today, and how both banks of the river are covered by one crew. It is built by hand in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with no framework and no build step, so it stays maintainable for years without depending on a toolchain that has to keep being supported.
result
Twelve requests for the entire homepage. With no framework and no hydration, the page is legible as soon as the HTML lands, and it will still build in a decade.
